Changes!

So many changes need to be made to this blog! I have been so busy lately I feel as though I have neglected SLK’s Blog. It’s true, I have. In the upcoming week I will be re-inventing the face of SLK, not just the Blog. So be looking for changes!

We are going to Greers Ferry this weekend to visit my family! I am pretty excited about it. Not only for the visit but for the photo adventure… Greers Ferry is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

SO, darlings, I hope you all have a lovely weekend. Remember what today is, and thank those amazing people fighting for our country. Say a prayer for those that lost family members or friends on this tragic day 8 years ago. And above all, remember how blessed you are!

Wallin-Thompson Family Reunion

I attended a family reunion out in Marked Tree on Saturday evening. The family was so great! Not only were they gathered from all over the USA (I think they said they had family there from Alaska, Hawaii, California, and everywhere in between!), they were all so nice and funny too! I had a great time!

They were so cute! And all the babies that were there… *sigh* adorable!!!

I really enjoyed getting to be a fly on the wall! Thank you for including me in your reunion!

Today my friend Anna and I had a photo adventure. We went down to sand creek, and out to Weiner (where we found the most amazing house- more on that later!)

Been a While!

SO, I know I am not that great at this wordpress thing. I do keep a personal blog and with school I haven’t been behind the camera very often. Sorry guys!

I did recently do my mother’s wedding, and it ended up being a gorgeous event.

So that is my mother and my new step-father. He’s a great guy. I haven’t ever seen my mom look so happy!

I have been dabbling a little bit with different ideas and I have decided to try and get my domain up and going… try again.. you know, since I didn’t follow through with it the first time. Not that I didn’t want to, but that I am not web-savvy enough to comprehend everything that needs to be done.

Anyway, I do promise to update this blog more often.

Shawn Oates

I had a shoot downtown today with Shawn Oates. I had never met him before today. Shawn was so nice and easy to work with. We didn’t shoot for very long because it was only about 24 degrees outside…. BRRR! Look for more of Shawn closer to the bridal fair.
